Prior to the construction of Grandstand Way, which connects Junction Parade to Morrison Road near the Honda Shop, the sewer main needs to be relocated.
The sewer main services the area to the north of New Junction – including New Bond, North and Charles streets.
Westline Civil, who delivered the sewer relocation works prior to the construction of Trackside Entrance and for the sale of land to Swan Valley Fresh, has been awarded the contract. Works also include the extension of the water mains to service the adjoining lots.
Following final Water Corporation approvals, construction is anticipated to commence in February 2025 and will take several months. There will be disruption to traffic using Morrison Road for a short period of time, this will be advertised in advance.
